Local Roots Lake County was created with one simple idea in mind: bringing our community together. Being Lake County raised, I’ve seen so many amazing businesses come and go over the years. Some of the best places, people, and businesses are right here in our small towns, but a lot of them don’t always get the visibility or support they deserve. I’ve also seen how disconnected our towns can feel at times, when really, we’re all part of the same community.

 

That’s a big part of why I created Local Roots through AMP’D Studios. I wanted to build something that helps people easily find and support local businesses while also creating more connection throughout Lake County. Not competition. Not division. Just a space where every business has a place and people can discover what our community truly has to offer.

Local Roots is a community directory featuring businesses from all over Lake County, restaurants, boutiques, contractors, beauty services, wellness providers, creatives, local shops, and so much more. Whether you’re looking for a service, a place to eat, or a new business to support, the goal is to make Local Roots the go to place to find what you need locally. 

More than anything, I want people to feel connected when they use Local Roots. I want business owners to feel supported and seen, no matter how big or small they are. There’s room for everyone here. At the end of the day, supporting local means supporting families, dreams, and the future of our communities. When we show up for each other, our towns grow stronger together. That’s what Local Roots is all about.
